The upgraded Dr. Octo Rex loop player loads eight REX loops into one player and lets you switch between them on the fly. This makes arranging a breeze – load the drum loops into one player, the guitars into another and use the sequencer to select what loop to play in a pattern-like fashion. In the Studio: Dj Toomp talks Software vs. Hardware
What’s good fellow aviators! People are always asking me what I use to make beats. Software or Hardware?? Well, I honestly use both! I use my Motif whenever I need some live sounding instruments, but I love using Propellerhead Reason. As a producer, I don’t like feeling limited, so being able to incorporate hardware with software keeps me free.
Check out this video of DJ Toomp I saw on CrateKings where he talked about his preference. The track he was workin on was dope too! I mean its Toomp, I wouldn’t expect anything less.
