What’s good Aviators! When I woke up this morning, I had a craving to hear some Journey. And I remembered a couple years ago when I sampled my first song. I never did like to sample as a producer, cause I felt like I was cheating. But talking to my mentor, he told me…”If you can sample, SAMPLE!” Plus sampling is an art form in itself (But that’s another post). I ran across a folder that I had on my hard drive and it had some samples from the group Journey, their song “Separate Ways”…I just about went crazy when I heard the guitars and drum rolls. This was probably the second song I’ve ever sampled. So here’s a little snippet for you to peep.
